Clause 600.211 — Visitor — primary criteria (time of decision)
The applicant must, at the time of decision:
(a) genuinely intend to visit Australia temporarily for a purpose consistent with the stream applied for (tourist activities, business activities, visiting a sponsored family member, or ADS tourism as applicable);
(b) be a genuine temporary entrant — the applicant's circumstances indicate that they will comply with the visa conditions and will leave Australia at the end of the visit;
(c) have sufficient funds to support themselves in Australia for the intended visit;
(d) satisfy health (PIC 4005) and character (PIC 4001) criteria;
(e) for the Sponsored Family stream — be sponsored by an eligible Australian resident proposer.
